Clifton Evers Surfer/Writer/Researcher

Dr. Clifton Evers has been surfing for more than thirty years and has a habit of pacing the floor and twitching all night when a new winter swell is on its way. He is a surfer/writer/researcher and wrote his PhD on surf culture. He researches gender, media, sport and cultural studies. He’s been published in the Sydney Morning Herald and Le Monde, and is an editor of Kurungabaa: A Journal of Literature, History and Ideas from the Sea.
