About: Dean Dampney

Dean Dampney grew up in a suburb on Syndney's northern beaches. He earned a few degrees, but feels like, for the most part, most of his time there was wasted. He did, however, have plenty of adventures, including ten years of traveling to Hawaii. As a photographer, his roots lie in street photography, with an emphasis on a documentary approach. He lives in a beautiful place with incredible waves and few people. What unites those few people is the great sense of how lucky they are.
