My name is Ian Mitchinson. I'm a water and surf Photog/Filmer/Editor currently based on the west coast of Ireland, right on the doorstep of the infamous Irish surf breaks (Bundoran and Mullaghmore, to name but a few). I have been a professional photographer since 2005, and before that worked as a photographer's assistant for quite a few years. Since I started working as a photographer, I have been blessed to live and travel all over the world capturing images and collaborating with amazing artists, brands and athletes - it's an evolving career. Besides photography, I also produce films and video. I'm always looking to collaborate and am available for touring surfers, surf magazines and brands looking for coverage and visual exposure in Ireland and abroad. Although currently based in Ireland, I will be floating between Indonesia, South Africa and Hawaii in 2015.
