Nico Palacios is a Colombian photographer based on the Gold Coast - Australia. Originally working as a biologist, in 2011 he exchanged labs, classrooms and microscopes for cameras, sand and waves; according to him the best decision in his life. "There is something magical about surfing" he says, explaining that growing up he was a city boy rarely in contact with the ocean and the beach.
