About: Quincy Dein

Growing up on Maui has given Quincy Dein a deep appreciation for adventure and the outdoors. When he's not behind the lens, he can be found surfing, diving, kiteboarding, hiking, and traveling. He has always had a passion for activism and protecting the natural environment. At USC, he studied Environmental Science, and hopes to combine his love of photography, adventure, and protecting the environment in projects that bring the three together. As a photographer, he feels successful when one of his images makes a person rethink what is possible. He wants to inspire people to go outside, to enjoy life, and to explore.
