Dr. Walter Rosenbaum conducts research and writes extensively about issues related to environmental policy, energy policy, and risk management associated with environmental and public health issues. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Environmental Studies and Sciences, and published his latest book, Environmental Politics and Policy, from CQ Press earlier this year. He recently completed an assessment of the environmental impact of the National Flood Insurance Program as a consultant to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and, earlier, another commission by the Center for Public Policy and Philanthropy at the University of Southern California. He has also served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy, the South Florida (Everglades) Ecosystem Restoration Project, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
