Zach Plopper is the Associate Director of WILDCOAST, and international team that conserves coastal and marine ecosystems and addresses climate change through natural solutions. The UCSD and UCLA grad enjoyed several years beach-hopping on the World Surf Leagues qualifying series before fully committing to ocean conservation with WILDCOAST in 2008. At WILDCOAST, Zach has worked with local communities and policy makers to advance ecosystem-based conservation in California, Mexico, Cuba, Ecuador, and the Philippines. Zach lives with his wife and two boys in Oak View, California.
