Everyone knows dolphins are the animal kingdom’s top surfers. Dream tour caliber. Next are seals, then seagulls. But who knew swans enjoy a good wave slide now and then?
Here, a foursome of black swans paddle out on the Goldie, jockey for position and get a couple fun ones to the delight of local beach goers. These guys split waves left and right and look like they’re having a blast. Just don’t drop in on one. Word is they’re gnarly. Just ask Natalie Portman.
