The Inertia

Good lord. Water like this isn’t really supposed to be run by normal humans. That’s why it was raced by 25 of the world’s best kayakers. James Byrd pulled off his North Fork Championships. The raging water leves across the West came down just enough to allow Byrd and crew to safely watch racers ply the Class V+ waters of Idaho’s North Fork of the Payette. Dane Jackson became the only back-to-back winner in the event’s history with California’s Evan Moore a close second and Chile’s Pangal Andrade in third. As you can see, it was pretty radical.
