With this hellacious heat, are you starting to think about winter yet? Well, you should, because there’s some scorching deals out there on season passes. Especially if you like to combine your winter between the backcountry and awesome little resorts that may be just off the radar.

Silverton Mountain in Colorado is an off-piste lover’s dream. Heli-skiing, guided backcountry, un-guided backcountry. One lift gets you to all the goods so you can access the Colorado high country (avalanche savy is a must). This place is ridiculous. And now, since Silverton has partnered with some out-of-the-way mountains, they’re offering a stellar deal on season passes.

One hundred and forty-nine bucks gets you the whole of the unguided spring season (avalanche gear required) which is March 30-31, April 1 and April 7-9 (when the snow is usually fantastic in the Colorado Rockies). A private day of your own at Silverton March 29 and three days each at rad resorts that include Powder Mountain in Utah, Red Lodge in Montana, Sunlight Mountain and Powderhorn in Colorado, Snow King in Wyoming and Homewood in California ($100 off Homewood’s cat skiing program included). You also get 1/2 price on heli-skiing during the spring schedule. That’s a pretty ridiculous deal.
