New Zealand is a special place in this world. It’s a place filled with very polite people, a safe place with very few surfers but plenty of waves.
The surf community has the best possible attitude: respectful and polite. Every day we find at least one new possibility for each swell with waves hitting hard on the coast all year. If you’re surfing on the west side and the wind switches to onshore you can drive an hour and be surfing on the island’s east side with offshores.
Out of the water, everyone lives a simple life with a strong family bond. You can feel the natural beauty all around you, and sometimes it all makes you feel like you’re in a movie or on a postcard.
