There aren’t a lot of guys from the Dominican Republic in the Maverick’s line up. But Andres Flores showed up on one of the best days of the year and went super steep and super deep in front of a packed house on December 20th. This is another entry in the Billabong Ride of the Year category of the 2015 XXL Big Wave Awards, surfing’s most entertaining contest.
