There’s been a lot of discussion about localism in Australia lately. Between Cyclone Marcia and the WSL kicking off the 2015 year at Snapper Rocks, nearly everyone and their mothers will be visiting the Gold Coast sometime this month. Dean “Dingo” Morrison stirred up quite the conversation about localism when he dropped in on another surfer at Kirra last week. While both sides of the localism conversation have their merits, there is one fact that either side cannot deny: Dolphins are the real locals of these waters. This video comes to you from Byron Bay, New South Wales. And while seeing dolphins in this region is anything but rare, it is still super radical.
