The Inertia

Californians have been more than blessed over the past several months. With the series of giant summer hurricanes, to the recent liveliness of the North Pacific, there has been constant opportunity to strike some classic California gold. So much so that it’s sort of unwise to leave California in search of waves. Pterygiums are worsening and sunburns are redder than ever, but, as surfers, we have never been more stoked to live in California.

One spot that has seemed to have a sweetly satisfying winter so far is Steamer Lane in Santa Cruz. Fortunately, the boys over at Rotor Collective were able to capture an epic sunset session that went down at one of California’s most classic right-handers.
