The Malibu girl shreds. And none other than camera maestro Morgan Maassen was there to snag the teenager tearing up a sizable Chopes. While we always admire his distinct underwater stylings, we admire Frankie Harrer’s role in the edit even more. The 2:15 mark is about when the swell picks up, with Frankie there to catch a couple heavy waves. Quite frankly, even though there’s (very small) signs that she might still be shaking out the sea legs when it comes to the bigger sets, she gets after it and makes good with the rides she snags — girl or boy, 16 or 30.
Needless to say, we’re damn excited to see where she takes her talents next.
