The Inertia

Modern neoprene is an incredible thing. Where once surfers were limited to spots that promised not to induce hypothermia, now with booties, gloves, and a hood, the ceiling of possibilities essentially comes down to how much torture your face is willing to endure.

Norway is a cold place. It’s also incredibly beautiful with limitless possibilities of quality surf that are only now being explored. The above clip is just a taste of the beauty of an area in northern Norway called Lofoten. There are no pro surfers, no sponsors, but it’s worth a watch all the same. The place is absolutely breathtaking, and, from the looks of it, totally uncrowded. Might be time to book the next surf trip.
