If you’re not acquainted with Joey B yet, that’s a shame. The dude’s been a source for important tips and tricks of the trade to expertly tune your snowboard for a while now. Recently, though, Joey decided to reveal his shred secrets for surfing – the same ones he used to almost take out Jamie O’Brien in the 2004 Pipe Masters. To cut to the chase, you’re gonna want to make sure your fins are as sharp as a butcher knife, you buff the bottom of your board with a 3:1 ratio of olive oil and Redbull (because olive oil is slick and Redbull will make you fly, duh), and you ditch the wax for Italian aged Parmesan. It’s unheard of that anybody would reveal such tightly guarded secrets that have been key to their competitive success, but that’s just the kind of guy Joey B is. Take note.
