Double vision NJ. This makes me think of the Foreigner song "Double Vision" for some reason. This is a fun wave when it breaks and such cool scenery to play with when you're shooting. Can't beat that snow on the ground either. Photo: Steve Coleman

Steve Coleman developed a close bond with the sea at an early age. He shared his love for the ocean with his mother who took him to the beach every day. He loved to dive into the frigid Atlantic with his friends and watch local surfers as they graced the waves of the Jersey Shore. After Steve’s first surf at age ten with some friends he was hooked. When he saw Bruce Brown’s The Endless Summer he became inspired to start making his own surf pictures. He found an old camera in his parent’s attic and began capturing his friends surfing, and then went on to tell the stories of soul surfers along the East Coast.
