The Inertia

We often find ourselves running into closed doors. It’s difficult sometimes, though, because we also get extremely lost when we get though the open ones.

So what is it that keeps us going to the open door? It’s because we’re addicted to the search – trying to find something that won’t ever close on us; whether it be waves, relations with a loved one/close friend, or even a job. Unfortunately for these situations, it’s pretty inevitable that at least one time in our lives, a wave will close out on us, a loved one will leave, and a job may seek another employee. But these shouldn’t be the reasons to give up searching. It really is that simple: find what makes you happy and replace that with all the bullshit you’ve ever been through. I’ve found my happiness, and it’s being behind the lens.
