Wednesday night at Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore, we showed our first documentary “Sine Qua Non: The Psychology of Big Wave Surfing with Greg Long” to a packed house. Greg did a lengthy Q&A, where he discussed his upbringing, his entry into big-wave surfing, the family that has formed both in and out of the lineup, and the process, from his point of view, of making the documentary.
