Apparently, action sports athletes can help sell porn. At least that’s what Pornhub thinks, a site catering to adult films, that’s looking to sponsor action sports athletes and is currently soliciting applications from skiers, snowboarders, surfers, BASE jumpers, kayakers and anyone else who goes big (definitely no pun intended there).
“Are you an amazing athlete that just needs that extra push to break it big,” reads a statement on the site. “Are you a part of a killer team that would be proud to sport the Pornhub colors? Then we want to hear from you because Pornhub is on the search to sponsor the most xxxtreme athletes under the sun.”
Yep, that’s real. According to a press release from the company, the site has already sponsored water polo teams, basketball squads, and a softball team in the U.S. “After sponsoring various sports teams throughout Europe and the U.S., we tried thinking outside of the box and as an XXX entertainment site, decided that it was time to go XXXtreme,” said Corey Price, Vice President at Pornhub. “We encourage all eligible athletes to apply and are excited to see applicants express themselves through action, speed and high levels of physical exertion. We’re very much looking forward to going the distance and scoring with the winning team.”
Sponsorship is for a full calendar year and applications are due by December 1 and can be filled out, here (just don’t surf around too much, especially if you’re at the office).
