Noseriding offers the feeling of a lifetime on a longboard. It defies the laws of physics. Not really. But it goes against the conclusions most non-physicists not versed in hydrodynamics might suppose would happen when a human stands on the nose of their board trimming at a decent clip. Instead of pearling, a properly executed noseride allows the surfer to feel the sensation of levitating across the face of the wave.

That sensation is what keeps loggers coming back for more, trying to prolong the noseride on subsequent waves.

Hanging 10, toes on the nose, tip time, getting nasal, hanging out on the schnoz, call it what you will. Whatever it is, Tommy Witt and Brian Anderson are damn good at it.
