The Inertia

#BeforeSandy from Steve Coleman on Vimeo.

This short clip was filmed on one October day in New Jersey. To me, this was the last time that surfing felt normal. A little over a week later, Hurricane Sandy began her tour of devastation through the Northeast. Many were left homeless or without power and heat due to Sandy’s wrath. Businesses were destroyed and lives were lost. As as surfer, we always pray for that big swell to come across the Atlantic but we wanted nothing like this.
