Nobody wants to find themselves in this situation when they jump into the ocean for some spearfishing. But then again, we all know the possibilities when we enter the ocean to begin with.
Here we see two divers on a spearfishing trip, finding themselves sharing space with a bronze whaler shark. While bronze whalers are considered friendly, they have been known to get aggressive in the presence of food. And considering these guys were out looking for fish it’s safe to assume this shark wasn’t happy to have competition. In fact, whalers are known to have aggressive encounters with spearfishermen in particular for that exact reason.
Sadly, while the divers are headed back to the safety of their boat, one of the men finds the fish darting right at him. He does what he has to, resulting in an end to this story nobody was rooting for.
This is about as gut wrenching of a moment you could find yourself in.
