The Inertia

Italy isn’t exactly the first place one thinks of when they think of a surf trip. When the Mediterranean turns on, though, it can get surprisingly good.

That’s why, after a significant swell popped up on the charts, Marlon Lipke and Gony Zubizarreta headed to Sardinia, an Italian island with over a thousand miles of coastline, for a quick strike mission with Robert D’Amico. And, like every great surf trip, it wasn’t only the waves that made it–it was the people and the experiences along the way that made it great.
