FREELANCE GEAR WRITER

The Inertia is seeking a freelance writer to contribute unique, original gear features on a weekly or monthly basis. Individuals with all ranges of experience are welcome to apply.

CONTRIBUTING FEATURE WRITER

The Inertia is seeking a contributing feature writer to tackle unique, original features and/or Op-Eds on a weekly or monthly basis.

If you’re interested in getting involved,  please send three pitches pieces you’d love to tackle to info@theinertia.com. Preference will be given to topics that are timely, newsworthy, and highly unique. We prefer sharp angles with a strong voice and point of view. Say something that needs to be said. Thoughtfully. Pitches require a title and a one- to two-sentence description. The ideal feature length is ~500 words.

If you would like to contribute to The Inertia, please send us an email. Please include a brief bio, a headshot, and a writing sample (presumably your first contribution).

For photographers, please include a link to your work, and if you’d like to submit a gallery, it’s best to send twenty captioned images sized at 1200 x 695 px.

While we welcome all contributions, we cannot guarantee that all submissions will be published. Submissions may be edited for style, grammar, or clarity before being published. By submitting content to TheInertia.com, you acknowledge that you own full rights to your submission and consent to publishing it on The Inertia website and The Inertia extensions and release The Inertia of any liabilities concerning your submission. Any inaccuracies in published content must be redressed by the author as soon as they are discovered.
