Growing up in Southern California, Gage was fortunate to be so close to the ocean. Throughout his travels and experiences, he began to want to document his adventures and share them with others. He gravitated towards surf photography because of his passion for the ocean and the love he has for surfing that started at a very young age. Gage decided to begin his photographic journey when he was 15 years old and now two years have passed and he can not let go of his camera.
