Gary is a surfer from Northern California and since finishing a graduate degree in Hydrology has been working as an environmental scientist. Rather, he used to do that before he chucked in the job and everything else, strapped his board to his motorbike and left for Africa a year and a half ago. Since then he's been riding waves wherever he finds them, taking photos, and trying to keep his motorbike upright.
