Joshua Burguete-Kirkman is an Australian surfer and writer living between Lund, Sweden and Tuncurry, Australia. In a time before Facebook and Instagram he was a professional bodyboarder competing on the world tour, but these days he prefers to ride whatever craft is suitable for the day. He is married to a beautiful Swedish/Uruguayan woman named Ida, and he is the father of a loyal hound called MacGyver. When Joshua isn't writing about surfing and the ocean, he works in communications for a social enterprise called Resource Recovery in Australia, and a cleantech investment firm in the Nordics called Cleantech Invest.
