Laure-Hélène currently lives in southeast France. She travels in New Zealand, Morocco, Indonesia, and throughout France in order to take pictures about what she feels surfing represents to her. She surfs and likes to move far from her comfort zone to catch this special feeling which helps her show what is impossible to describe with a few words. She uses photography for that. For her, a special light or a special instant cannot truly be translated any different way. She bodysurfs and enjoys shaping handplanes and alaias because she likes working with wood and the way in which it works in the ocean. As a photographer, she always keeps an eye open for the smallest and/or most authentic things which build our world, especially in the surf.
