With a childhood spent adventuring around the world, after graduating university with an honors degree in Political Science and a short spell as a sports journalist Lizzie spent her twenties living, traveling and working around the world, visiting more than sixty countries. Working mostly as an English teacher for foreign students Lizzie always sort to help those who had no opportunity to gain skills in language they wanted and needed. Lizzie believes strongly in the benefits of practicing sports for the individual and for a community. With a particular affinity for water sports Lizzie is a qualified surfing instructor and competitive swimming coach and keen free diver. Proficient in five languages including Indonesian, Lizzie is a naturally curious person who sees sharing of knowledge and open communication as key to inter-cultural relations and positive outcomes.
