Nick Sadrpour grew up in Los Angeles and during college he began working in a microbiology lab in Orange County monitoring ocean water quality. He moved to Monterey and earned a Master of Science degree in Coastal and Watershed Science and Policy. During graduate school, he was an intern for the California Coastal Commission and also had the opportunity to work on a surfonomics study with the Save the Waves Coalition. Nick is now a California Sea Grant State Fellow with the Ocean Protection Council where he is working on ocean and coastal policy.
