I make surf movies of some of the guys in our local scene down here in San Diego. A few weeks ago, a friend invited me to come up to Lowers and film the freesurfs that preceded the Hurley Pro. The result is this edit. A pretty epic session went down, and the boys were shredding hard. I threw in the clips of Devon Howard and Jay Adams because the movie is full of air reverses, and I love how clean Devon surfs (no leash too). I thought I’d start the movie out on a classy note, plus Jay is a legend and I thought Jay and Taj doing the Blue Angels on a wave was pretty rad.
