Spanish surfer Aritz Aranburu teamed up with brothers, Adur (13) and Iker (15) Amatrian, to show the two groms the waves of their dreams in Africa. This was the youngsters’ introduction to surfing powerful waves, with the experienced Aritz as their teacher. They scored and surfed some of the best waves of their lives.
Of course, it wasn’t just an experience for the boys. Aritz was stoked to travel with the Amatriain brothers. “When I was 15 I had the chance to travel with Ibon Amatriain to Hawaii and learned from the best,” he says. “Now it’s time for the next Amatriain generation to shine.”
