“Longer than the Gods allow,” they conclude. And by they we mean slackliner Samuel Volery and his team of merry men and women.
Anyway, after rigging this 537-meter slackline betwen two Churfirsten Summits (the Zuestoll and Schibenstoll to be precise) the crew of happy-go-lucky Swiss had to retreat to their camp due to a cover of ominous clouds. Unfortunately when they came back, those aforementioned ominous clouds had proved their ominous worth in producing a couple exact lightning bolts that burned then broke the slackline.
Fortunately no one was near the slackline when it happened and everyone came away unscathed.
SLACKTIVITY Slacklines is a rather talented team, and to offset the somewhat anti-climatic finish to the video above, we’ll leave you with a couple real eye-openers, like unreal bounces…
…and epic surfs.
