Brazil is leading the charge when it comes to surf progression. There’s no question about it. Guys like Gabriel Medina, Filipe Toledo and Yago Dora (just to name a few) are taking the sport to whole new levels especially above the lip. And here’s another Brazilian prophet of progression to add to the list: Krystian Kymerson.
During a recent stay in SoCal, Krystian spent his fair share of time in the water and in the air. He was in town for the Oakley Lowers Pro, which he unfortunately got knocked out of in round 2. But aside from a poor contest result, the Brazilian absolutely crushed it while free surfing. He put on a clinic of full rotation airs from Newps to Lowers. With boosts like that, the kid is gonna be raking in the frequent flyer miles.
