This year, the USC Surf Team is part of a video competition called the “Red Bull Bracket Reel,” where eight different schools compete against each other by submitting video edits of their surfing. There are three rounds of edits, the first being themed, “Best Waves and Glory Days.” For our submission, we decided to film a skit through the perspective of an old man who wants to relive his “Glory Days.” The time frame for filming was July through October and we included footage from our team members surfing in New York, Nicaragua, Bali, Mexico, and all over Southern California.
