West Oz is heavy. Water is cold, sharks are plentiful, and it’s extremely exposed to some very, very big surf. Remember the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro earlier this year? It was macking, and surfers were breaking boards left and right while simultaneously receiving some of the worst beatings of their lives. But when you see those guys in the know-how, particularly Jay Davies and Harry Bryant, this wonderful region of Australia is quite easy on the eyes.
