I recently got a phone call from Cory Whitlock, owner of RW Surf Shop in Oceanside, California. “You gotta get down here,” he said. “We have waves coming and Poopies (star from Who is J.O.B?) is in town right now.” I was fresh off the plane from Nicaragua, so I re-packed up the family and the van and headed down. For the next few weeks, every morning was practically perfect. And it still is. As a photographer, you couldn’t ask for better days. Super glassy, offshore mornings provided countless moments to capture. Here’s a small selection of the incredible run of swell San Diego has been graced with over the past few weeks.
