Gabriel Medina is a bonafide superstar. His world title opened the floodgates for a storm of epic proportions, and although he hasn’t quite followed it up how a lot of people expected him to, he seems to have found his stride in the last few events. And who can blame him for a few lack luster events? He’s young, he’s a world champ, and the guy has probably been basking in something that only a few athletes ever will: the glow that hoisting a world title brings. Everyone’s still expecting big things from Medina, and it’s only a matter of time before he proves them all right.
