There’s just an extra level of froth that’s brought on by offshore winds. Sure, sometimes they can blow so furiously that we need that extra little oomph to paddle into one, but once you’re up and going you remember why this is so special. The texture on the water’s surface, the spray feathering off the lip, and that little bite you feel on your cheeks as you squint.
Take a gander, and then fight the urge to pray for conditions like these tomorrow morning.
Actually, don’t fight that urge at all.
