Traveling can be extremely dangerous. Chances are that either you or someone you know has at least one, if not several, stories that involve theft, jail, bribes, violence, or some other sketchy situation. All of those things have the potential to completely ruin a surf trip, but they’re common evils that can be avoided. For starters, don’t ignore locals who warn you of the dangers associated with, for example, traveling at night. Luckily these lads got to Desert’s unharmed, but it serves as a reminder that you should always be smart and stay vigilant while traveling. Besides that, all you have to do is enjoy life and get some barrels.
