Back in the day, surf videos had more than just surfing in them. Now, with the internet and its ADD-riddled viewers, they’ve become 2-5 minute flashes of single maneuvers. The painfully bad acting of the surfers is sorely missed, which is what makes Uluwatu Grooves so awesome. Kalani Robb, Rizal Tanjung, and Benji Weatherly’s acting chops aren’t nearly as good as their surfing chops… but that’s what makes this so great: mix that awfully bad with the awfully good, throw a few scooter in the mix, and show the guys surfing a wave like Ulu.
