I am a surfer/videographer based out of New Jersey, USA and utilize the latest advances in DSLR camera technology to record my sessions without the assistance of others. While I love seeing Kelly Slater doing the impossible on a death slab in Bali, I find those sorts of images entertaining as opposed to inspirational. I am most stoked when showing up at a local break and seeing a small silhouette gliding across a beautiful maritime landscape. I can do that. I am about to do that. I run as fast as I can. It’s every Christmas morning I have ever had rolled into one. It happens every time, and if I am lucky, it will happen again tomorrow morning.
