Shipsterns Bluff doesn’t exactly look like a fun wave to surf. That can most likely be attributed to the fact that it doesn’t really look like a wave to begin with. But for some reason there are plenty of people who get their kicks off of towing here.
Mick Fanning gets barreled (1:08) out of his mind on one of those rare Shipterns caverns that actually looks like a wave. But that just might be the most “normal” part of this entire edit, with air drops and the obligatory head first slams scattered throughout. In fact, this might be one of the most mellow and least violent Shipsterns edits you’ll ever see. Who’d a thunk?
