Patch Wilson probably isn’t a guy you’ve heard a lot about. Growing up in Cornwall, he found himself desperate for better barrels. A construction worker by trade, Patch paid for trips to Mexico, Australia, Indonesia, and many more places with the sweat of hard labor, slowly building both his talent and his confidence in bigger and bigger waves. His most recent focus has been a little closer to home, however. He’s been spending as much time in Ireland and Scotland, and the slabs on the west coast Ireland have really caught his attention.
