Those who surf Jaws are borderline insane. Those who attempt to get barreled out there are certifiable lunatics. It goes without saying Kai Lenny falls under both of these categories, but it doesn’t stop there for the Maui local. Kai once surfed Jaws on a motorized board and you will see him out there on his SUP nearly every time Pe’ahi turns on. But what’s unique about this video is that we get to see a side of Kai that we don’t get to see too often: high-performance Kai. Who knew Kai could throw full rotations like that?
