Kelia Moniz is an amazing surfer. She’s a melting pot of ethnicity; Japanese, Hawaiian, Portuguese, Chinese, and Irish, Moniz grew up in a family that lives and breathes surfing. After first stepping on a surfboard at the tender age of five, the surfer/model quickly took to longboarding, and has made a very deep impression on the world of logging.
Not only is she extraordinarily talented on the perfect, peeling right-hander that is Malibu, but she’ll charge huge Teahupoo on a longboard, take a serious beating, and come up smiling. This is why we love Kelia.
