We’ve almost crossed a full two months off the 2016 calendar already. And they’ve been a good (almost) two months. El Niño kind of has that effect on surfers connected to the Pacific Ocean.
But if you had to be anywhere this winter – getting barreled, getting pummeled, and getting the wave(s) of your life – you’d be a fool not to pick the North Shore. Sure, you could go somewhere else and get great waves. And lord knows Oahu isn’t void of packed lineups any winter, let alone this one. But boy, she sure has a way of making it look worth the fuss.
