How epic is Chamonix? Ride the tram up the Aiguille du Midi to the top of that peak in the Mont Blanc massif and the route options are endless. Couloirs, slaying peaks, dodging crevasses. But it all takes experience and know-how–namely how to move around safely in the mountains.

And the best part is after exiting the chute and skiing off the glacier, they were probably sipping cappuccino an hour later in the village. Vive la France!
